InfoBasis demonstrates successful IT capability management at SFIA conference
At this year's SFIA Conference, capability management expert InfoBasis will explain best practice in successfully deploying the professional IT skills framework. The technology provider, which in 2003 was the first software provider accredited by the SFIA Foundation, will be exhibiting at the event in London on 29 November.
"I'm delighted with our on-going relationship with InfoBasis," said SFIA Foundation Operations Manager Ron McLaren. "Their advanced technology does so much to underpin large scale implementations of SFIA, and this is making a real contribution to IT skills capability management in this country."
"This is the sixth year of the conference, and it's the sixth we've attended," said InfoBasis strategic alliances director Donald Taylor. "InfoBasis clients that use SFIA include Norwich Union, BAE Systems, the DWP and Sony Pictures Entertainment, so we have plenty of experience to share on how to implement the framework successfully."
SFIA (the Skills Framework for the Information Age) is the industry-standard description of IT professional skills. Launched in 2001, it has been adopted by over 500 organisations, and is now used internationally to define workforce competencies and job role descriptions.
The one-day conference takes place at DBRR on 29th November, and tickets are available for £85 +VAT. For further information, and to register, visit www.sfia.org.uk/conference2007/ .
