Capability management data sharing and skills analysis boosted by new InfoBasis software release

Two new add-ons allow for data sharing and analysis of aggregated information

Capability management expert InfoBasis today announced the availability of two new talent management add-ons for the InfoBasis ESI platform. The new tools allow organisations to share human capital information across separate installations and to analyse the aggregated data.

“InfoBasis Enterprise Skills Infrastructure™ has always allowed data sharing and aggregated analysis within an installation,” explains InfoBasis CTO Nicholas Revell. “The new Publish & Subscribe add-on, however, allows subscribing administrators to share data between installations – for example job roles and skills frameworks.” This allows users to speed up standard HR tasks such as creating job descriptions by benefiting from work already done by colleagues. It also ensures consistency in approach.

In addition, the Aggregate & Analyse add-on allows subscribers at different implementations to aggregate this shared data for analysis. “This is particularly valuable for multinational organisations,” explains Nicholas. “They can share skills data and analyse it across divisions. It is also possible for companies within an industry, trade group or geography to agree to share anonymous data for analysis and benchmarking.”

The Publish & Subscribe and Aggregate & Analyse add-ons are available to organisations with local installations of InfoBasis Enterprise Skills Infrastructure™.
