InfoBasis CEO outlines company’s success at Oxford Capital Partners’ Investor Forum

LONDON, UK – Ashley Wheaton, CEO of Total Capability Management expert InfoBasis addressed the Oxford Capital Partners’ (OCP) Investor Forum on September 20 at the Said Business School in Oxford, where, in front of over 150 investors, he outlined the exceptional business progress of the company.

OCP has been investing for over 10 years in companies seeking to commercialise exceptional science and technology, and was awarded the title Venture Capital House of the Year at the 2005 Unquote Private Equity Awards. They made their first investment in InfoBasis in 2004 and in his talk, Mr Wheaton explained how InfoBasis attracted that first tranche of funding.

“Since we began five years ago, InfoBasis has taken off spectacularly. Since our foundation in 2001, we have grown to over 50 members of staff, and now have three offices in the UK and one in the US, with revenues growing by nearly 100% for each of the past three years,” said Wheaton.

“Our ability to form partnerships with major organisations such as IBM, Thomson NETg and PA Consulting Group has been a key part of our growth, as has the ability to run profitably and debt-free. Highlights have included securing clients such as Microsoft, Norwich Union, BAE Systems, and the NHS.”

Also speaking at the conference was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Science and Innovation Lord Sainsbury of Turville as well as several other companies in the OCP portfolio.
