InfoBasis Summit reveals blueprint for building a competency-driven organisation

InfoBasis is holding a summit in September to analyse how total capability management can make organisations both more productive and more efficient.

At the summit, Ashley Wheaton, CEO of InfoBasis, will reveal how total capability management connects ten key HR processes by underpinning them with skills management. The result is not only greater efficiency in daily HR activities but the ability to manage, develop and deploy personnel in line with organisational goals.

Drawing on both theory and practical experience, the summit will highlight how HR and operational processes such as selection and recruitment, performance reviews and appraisals, and resource deployment can be moved from siloed activities to integrated practices.

“When it comes to skills management, there is a danger for HR directors to only focus on one or two areas within the company,” said Ashley Wheaton, CEO of InfoBasis. “Total capability management teaches us to take a more holistic view of HR and use skills management throughout an organisation’s infrastructure.”

Leading minds in HR, such as Professor Scott-Jackson from the Centre for Applied HR Research, will gather at the event to unveil the benefits of understanding how the total capability management process areas affect each other.
