InfoBasis wins Startup Team of the Year Award

London, UK (15th October, 2004) – InfoBasis Limited, a leading provider of skills management technologies, today scooped the Startups Team of the Year Award. The award recognises the outstanding achievement of InfoBasis in organically growing a company from its launch by three founders in July 2001 to a company now holding contracts with some of the largest IT organisations in the world.

The InfoBasis team of staff has been key to the company's success over this period, as the award recognised. The judges praised them for their tenacity in developing an entirely new product and taking it to market, and for reaching profitability within the first three years of operation - something many technology companies fail to achieve. In September the value of the company was recognised when it raised an undisclosed amount of growth funding from high-tech investment firm Oxford Capital Partners.

InfoBasis Enterprise Skills Infrastructure™ – the company’s core product – has been adopted as a platform for skills management services by clients including Microsoft Corporation, the British Computer Society and the British Army.
