Parity and InfoBasis bridge skills gap in IT market

London, UK, 21st July 2004 – Parity Group plc has signed a strategic partnership agreement with InfoBasis Limited, the UK leader in skills audit technology for human capital management (HCM), to audit and improve competencies in organisations.

As a result of the agreement Parity, the UK's largest IT training company and a recruitment specialist, will provide corporate clients with a complete inventory of personnel skills allowing true workforce asset strength to be assessed. Demand for this service has been rising in response to increasing regulatory demands for HCM reporting, such as the recommendations of the Accounting for People Taskforce.

The alliance will enable Parity to expand its consultancy business and will also assist InfoBasis in gaining further HCM contracts throughout the UK.

With the InfoBasis technology underpinning our HCM solution, we are now delivering significant workforce optimisation programmes that make us unique in the market."

The two companies will also co-operate in bidding for consultancy to maximise new business opportunities. A recently signed consultancy contract with The Environment Agency is just one example of the work being carried out by the partnership.
