InfoBasis ESI unveiled at Learning Technologies exhibition
InfoBasis to exhibit Enterprise Skills Infrastructure (ESI) at Europe’s leading learning and skills event on Stand 81.
InfoBasis Limited, a leading provider of skills management business solutions, today announced that it will be showcasing the latest release of its Enterprise Skills Infrastructure (ESI) software at Learning Technologies 2004, Europe’s leading organisational learning and skills event, at Stand 81, taking place on 28th-29th January 2004 at Olympia 2 in London.
Learning Technologies 2004 is the country's largest and single-most important learning event for the business, HR, IT and training manager and InfoBasis consequently sees the two-day event as the ideal platform from which to demonstrate its highly acclaimed skills management software, ESI.
InfoBasis Enterprise Skills Infrastructure (ESI) ensures that organisations will understand the skills of each individual – providing a framework for readiness planning, professional development, project deployment, collaboration and risk assessment that will ensure they can put their strategy into action more effectively and more profitably.
Ashley Wheaton, Managing Director at InfoBasis, commented, “Learning Technologies is now in its fifth year and has grown to cover every aspect of organisational learning and development. The target audience and number of expected visitors make this event an obvious choice for us to exhibit InfoBasis ESI and educate the market on its important role in workforce development.”
The foundation of the Enterprise Skills Infrastructure is its skills inventory, a highly-granular audit of staff skills and roles that is authenticated by managers and visible at all levels of an organisation. It provides a cascading view of skills and competencies against which business objectives, organisational models, job roles, vacancies and training requirements can be understood and aligned.
InfoBasis has evolved a seven-stage skills management methodology that has led to the successful adoption of InfoBasis ESI by organisations including The British Army, the British Computer Society and Norwich Union.
InfoBasis ESI’s unparalleled ability to analyse and manage staff skills also leverages traditional e-learning applications, allowing their users to re-align training with business direction and to achieve a greater return from their existing learning infrastructure investments.
