InfoBasis Strengthens Executive Team
InfoBasis Ltd, one of the foremost producers of business solutions for skills management, today announced a strengthening of its executive team with two new appointments.
The new appointments to the InfoBasis Board of Directors bring a wealth of industry experience and expertise to the company. Ashley Wheaton joins as Chief Executive Officer following a long career at Microsoft Corporation where he was Director of Global Learning Services, responsible for the development of 12,000 individuals. "This is an incredibly exciting time for our industry." says Wheaton, "Companies need to respond increasingly quickly to customers and the market. If they are to do this effectively, a comprehensive approach to the assessment, analysis and development of their most important asset - their people - is not only important, but mandatory."
Donald Taylor is appointed as Director of Strategic Alliances with 15 years of Education Industry experience; he is also Learning Technologies Conference Chair and an honorary fellow of the Institute of IT Training. "Increasingly executives understand that it's no longer acceptable to spend around 60-70% of overhead on payroll with no clear idea of what those employees can achieve." Says Taylor, "The InfoBasis solution provides that visibility, and with it the ability to allow personnel to better contribute towards organisational goals, and to develop themselves."
