Software Tester
InfoBasis are looking to strengthen their existing team with the addition of a Software Tester. Reporting to the Test Manager the role holder will be responsible for the following;
- Reviewing software specifications
- Writing test cases
- Verifying the success or failure of test cases
- Recording the success or failure of cases
- Reviewing the email support mailbox
- Managing customer queries through the email support mailbox
- Tracking bugs and issues from support through to resolution and deployment
Experience
The successful candidate will have an interest in IT problem solving and be able to identify key errors and areas where a solution differs from the specification. The candidate will need to work well in a team and keep their work organized. They will also need to be able to work with other internal teams such as the Specification and Development teams.
Basic IT skills such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications will be required.
No experience of software testing or handling email support is necessary for this role as training will be provided.
