InfoBasis are offering graduates the opportunity to join our team as Graduate SQL Database Developers. InfoBasis encourages responses from graduates of all disciplines.
Skill Set
Whilst you may not have software development experience you will need to be technically proficient and have an interest in problem solving. The right attitude and capability is more important than previous experience in software development.
Successful candidates will undertake a comprehensive induction programme and will be given the opportunity to study for industry certification.
As part of the training programme you will build development capability with Microsoft SQL Server and will gain the following skills:
SQL Server 2005:
- Relational database design
- Transact-SQL scripting
- Data extraction, transformation and loading (DTS, SSIS)
- SQL Server Management Tools
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- SQL Server Analysis Services
Responsibilities
- Solution development
- The design, creation, testing and documenting of new and amended database scripts from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards
- Solution testing
- Product Documentation
