Development Manager
The Development Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of InfoBasis development projects. Working closely with the Sales, Consulting and Test teams the Development Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the development team.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Project Management: Creating project plans for multiple projects and assigning workloads accordingly, Ensure projects are completed on time and within the estimated man days, Liaise with the test and deployment team to ensure the successful completion of projects, Record and report time spent against projects for members of the team on a monthly basis, Ensure timely response to bugs and other issues.
Team Management: Respond to holiday requests and ensuring sufficient cover for project delivery, Work with HR to record sickness and other team issues.
Development Estimates: Provide development estimates for the sales team and keep a record of upcoming projects and potential workload.
Product Maintenance: Determine features and fixes for future service release versions with the Test Manager.
Experience
Project Experience:
- Experience managing projects and project team members.
Development Experience:
- Familiar with the software as a service approach to development
- Experience of task management and bug tracking software
- Experience of development techniques such as Scrum
- Familiar with testing and the full development lifecycle
Personal Qualities
- Organised, able to work to deadlines.
