Part of the Salary.com group, we now seek a Business Development Manager to support the expansion of our existing business in the UK marketplace
Basic salary, OTE, company car, contributory pension, laptop, mobile phone and death in service cover.
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, the successful candidate will have experience of software sales within the UK. The ideal candidate will have been building their career successfully and will now be looking for a fresh challenge.
As a key player in a growing team of experienced sales professionals, the successful candidate will thrive on selling ‘a complete business opportunity’, which is complex, mutually rewarding and requires long term commitment and partnership with customers

Key responsibilities
What will be the Business Development Manager’s core functions?
- Manage complete sale: We require an energetic and passionate sales professional who is comfortable with a complete business opportunity and selling at Board level.
- Achieve revenue targets through winning new customers and generating ongoing revenue through account management of existing customers.
- Manage the ongoing day to day relationship with customers once signed, helping them to develop their use of InfoBasis products and tools
- Assist other colleagues by providing expert knowledge on vertical markets
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Background
What specific skills are required of the Business Development Manager?
- Detailed knowledge and experience of selling software solutions and products to the UK market
- Experience in securing business with either financial services or public sector customers
- Ability to thrive in a high pressured sales environment
- Proven track record in achieving personal quotas and proven success within solution based sales
- Excellent communication skills
